Executive Coach · SEQ

An executive coach for the business owner who carries the whole show in their head.

You are the one everything routes through. Every call, every judgement, every fire. About 40 of them a day, all routing through you. This is executive coaching across Southeast Queensland that gives you back the headspace to lead, instead of spending it carrying the weight of running the whole show.

The short answer

What does an executive coach do?

It helps the person running the business make sharper decisions, stay present under pressure, and stop being the single point of failure.

The job is not to motivate you, and it is not to hand you a leadership model. It is to change how you operate so your best thinking is available when it matters most.

Most leaders at this level do not lack knowledge. They lack room. The calendar is full, the head is louder than it should be, and the important work keeps losing to the urgent.

You are the best in the place at it. That is exactly why you cannot leave it. Your competence became a cage. The work clears your head first, then sharpens what you do with it.

What you actually work on

The four things that quietly cost a leader most.

Everything routes through you

You add most of the value, so you sit in every meeting and sign off every call. The team learns to wait for you instead of deciding. Your day fills up with their questions and your own work never gets touched. So the whole business runs at your speed. Step out for a week, and it stops.

Home, but still at work

Switching off feels like dropping the ball, so you never really do. The phone stays on at dinner and the work follows you home. You are there, but your head is still at the office. And the kids clock it before you do.

Running the tank down

Sleep and training are what you get to once the business is sorted, so they go first. The nights get short and you run the day on coffee. By 3pm your best thinking is already gone. You are the engine the whole place runs on, and you are running it down.

Flat out, going nowhere

Staying on top of everything feels like the job, so you say yes to it all and chase whatever is loudest. The few things that actually grow the business get buried under the hundred that do not. Every day is full, and the work that counts keeps sliding to tomorrow. So you move all day and still go backwards. Busy is not the same as done.

M.R. runs major programs at a national telco, with a nonprofit on the side, and arrived on the edge of burnout: scattered, flat, always on. Across 22 sessions she rebuilt her mornings, halved her screen time, and got her focus back. Her words: "The fog is lifting and I'm feeling that clarity."

Gert runs a freight and logistics business and came in carrying the whole thing on his own shoulders, stretched thin and running on fumes, the energy gone long before the day was done. His words: "Incredible! I saved multiple hours every day and gained the energy to lead my business without burning out."

Alison is an education executive with four kids. Email at the breakfast table, back-to-back meetings, home but not really there. Now the email is off the phone, mornings are protected, and a 15-minute walk sits between the office and the front door. Her kids' words: "You don't need to change, you're already the best person ever."

Straight answers

The stuff you're actually wondering.

What does an executive coach do?

An executive coach helps the person running the business make sharper calls under pressure: clearer decisions, more presence, less reactivity, and the room to lead without being the bottleneck. Impacter does this with behavioural science, changing how you work and recover rather than handing you frameworks you already know.

What is the difference between an executive coach, a performance coach, and a business coach?

A business coach works on the business. A performance coach works on your output and energy. An executive coach works on you as a leader: judgement, decision load, presence, and how you carry pressure. Impacter blends all three around the person actually running the show, because for a person running their own business they are the same problem.

Who is executive coaching for?

People running their own business, CEOs, COOs, and senior leaders who are effective but stretched, where every decision routes through them and the cost is showing up in their energy, their team, or their home life.

How is this different from leadership training?

Leadership training gives you models in a room. Executive coaching changes how you actually behave in your real week, one to one, applied to your real decisions. The work is private, confidential, and built around your situation.

What does executive coaching cost?

Engagements start at AUD $2,500 plus GST for a 30 day sprint and $7,500 plus GST for the 12 week program. According to a PwC and ICF global study, the average return on executive coaching is around seven times the investment.
