Health Coach · Business Owners

A health coach for business owners who let their health slide building the business.

You used to train. You used to sleep. Then the business ate it all, and now you run on coffee and willpower. Your health is the engine under the business and the armour for the world you've built. Get it running again and you get your energy back, without working any less hard.

The slow slide

It did not happen all at once.

Nobody decides to let their health go. It leaks away one busy patch at a time, until one day you do not recognise how you feel.

You used to train three times a week. Now you cannot remember the last session. You are wired on coffee by nine, flat by three, and a glass of wine at night just to come down.

Sleep is rubbish. You wake at two thinking about work, and the mornings feel like wading through mud. You eat on the run, standing up, between calls. The body that used to carry you now drags.

And you keep telling yourself the same thing. You'll ease off later. Once this phase is done. She'll be right. You've been saying that for three years, the phase never ends, and the slide just keeps going.

The tank holds a finite amount. Run it empty long enough and you are not just risking your own health. You are putting at risk what you provide for the people who depend on you.

A business owner walking outdoors to get his energy back

A personal trainer hands you a program. A dietitian hands you a meal plan. Both are useful, and both fail the same way for a busy person. They assume you have the time and the headspace to follow them. You do not.

And this is not about a six pack. One business owner put it straight to me. He looked fit because of the diet, but he could not walk 150 metres without losing his breath. Looking the part and running on a full tank are two different things. This work is about the second one.

This is behavioural science applied to your real schedule, not a plan you will quietly abandon by week two. We do not add a perfect routine on top of a brutal week. We change the small daily patterns that decide how you actually feel.

It is built for people running a business who have fifteen minutes, not two hours, and we track the changes with objective data so you are not guessing how your body is responding. And we set it up so health becomes something you get to do, not one more thing you have to do. Control is what makes it stick.

What you actually work on

The four things that run your engine.

You just push through the crash

You tell yourself a coffee will sort it. So you get wired by nine and flat by three, and you reach for another one. Now the crash runs the day, not you. A wine at night just drags you lower. This week you did the big thinking on an empty tank. Keep it up and you are cooked before you start.

The night never switches off

You think you will wind down once the head goes quiet. So you take the laptop to bed and let the list run. Then you are wide awake at two, doing sums that can wait till morning. Next day you wade through mud and snap at the kids over nothing. Run the tank empty long enough and there is nothing left for them.

Training is the first thing you drop

You tell yourself you will start again once this phase is done. So training is first off the list when the week goes mad. You have said that for three years and the phase never ends. Now you cannot walk 150 metres without losing your breath. The body that carried you is quietly packing it in.

You are guessing how run down you are

You reckon you know your own limits, so you push a bit harder. She'll be right, you say, and you skip the day off. But the tank holds only so much, and you cannot feel the bottom coming. So you find out the hard way, at 9pm chasing invoices with nothing left. Push it that far and the whole place falls over with you.

Straight answers

The stuff you're actually wondering.

What does a health coach for business owners do?

It changes the daily habits that decide your energy, sleep, training, and recovery, built around a brutal schedule rather than a perfect one. This is behavioural science for your physical engine, not a generic wellness program. The point is not a six pack. It is keeping the tank full enough to run the business and provide for the people who depend on you. We fix the small patterns first, track them with objective data, and the change holds because it fits your real week.

I have no time. Will this actually work?

It is built for exactly that. The whole point is behavioural change for people with almost no time, so nothing here assumes a spare two hours a day. We start with the smallest patterns that move your energy the most, fifteen minutes not two hours, and most people feel a shift inside two weeks.

Do I need a tracking device like WHOOP or OURA?

A wearable like a WHOOP or OURA helps, because it gives us objective numbers on your sleep, recovery, and strain instead of guesswork. It is not strictly required to start, but it makes the work sharper and lets you see exactly what is working. If you already own one, we use it.

Is this nutrition coaching or training?

Neither, in the usual sense. This is not a meal plan from a dietitian or a gym program from a personal trainer. It is behavioural change across sleep, energy, training, and recovery, designed so it survives a hard week. We do not add a perfect routine on top of chaos, we change the patterns underneath it.

What does it cost and how does it run?

Engagements start at AUD $2,500 plus GST for a 30 day sprint and $7,500 plus GST for the 12 week program. It runs one to one, mostly over Zoom, built around your situation. According to a PwC and ICF global study, the average return on this kind of coaching is around seven times the investment.
